I've tried your new code.
Now the buffer issue is *almost* gone (because there's some milliseconds of the previous station still hearable).
The other problems (slow channel changing speed are there), but is a good improvement.
Good job mm1352000! Thank you!
I'm sorry I can't post logs.
Had to revert back to vanilla 1.2.0b because in the last svns there's a problem with plugins (every plugin you try to install gives a dependency error)
Anyway this is definitely the way to go
Thank you again,
sdf

    Hi again sdf

No problem about the logs. :)
I have something that may tempt you to try the latest SVN again - I found a solution to the slow channel switching problem! :D
I reduced my analog TV and FM switching time to 2.5s, and there is a good chance that I could reduce it even more. You can try the attached MPFileWriter if you want...

    mm1352000, you're the man!
Anyway, I've found a temporary solution for the SVN problem.
If I want to install a plugin can revert back to vanilla 1.2.0b and then apply the SVN upgrade. The plugin is still there and functioning. Only if I try to install the plugin with the SVN binaries I have dependency problems.
Will try soon your improvements, and let you know.
    Thank you!

Sorry mm1352000, but my hard disk suddenly died and had to reinstall all the stuff from scratch.
I tried your patch and it's (nearly) perfect!
Analog radio first start 5-6 secs and channel change 2-3 sec (wow!).
I think that it can surely be committed to SVN (the problem for the plugins dependency was wi-fi remote plugin)
    Thank you!

    Bump mm1352000.
Don't know how the development is going on and if the switch to git is near.
But what about including your latest speed improvements in analog radio?
    Thank you!
