I have built a new fanless system based on the specs above (don't have all driver versions, but all the latest). The problem I have is that with my Fox on SVideo input after a period of time (may be 5 hours or more, sometimes only minutes) the analog picture will freeze. At this point if I Ctrl-F4 MP it will drop back to windows. If I hit back or any other button to change the screen on MP the entire system will hang and I need to power off the box.
I have not attached the logs as there is absolutely nothing in them around the time of the crash (though I am trying one more time). The system does not do this on any other part of MP, DVB-T is fine, video playback is fine. I have rebuilt the system from the ground up and replaced the HDD with a standard drive to test. No difference. The is nothing in the Windows Event log either to indicate any problems.
When the hang occurs if I go into TV Server configuration and try to view a channel it will freeze the system as well, same if I try to stop or start the TV server service.
This is really frustrating, love my new silent system, but this is really dropping the WAF.

Hi Graeme

The dual hybrid card requires software encoders for analog sources doesn't it? My guess is that the picture freeze is being caused either by the encoders spitting the dummy (as they can sometimes do) or the load on your CPU causing overheating problems (reasonably unlikely I would have thought). Your TV Server logs would actually be helpful to confirm what encoders are being used and see what was happening when you get freezes when trying to preview. Do you mind posting them?

Hi MM,
The reason i chose this card (after lots of looking) is that it is one of the only hybrid cards I could find that used hardware encoders on the analog side. I originally suspected heating problems (as this is a passive system), but I ran a hi def 8Gig movie in a constant loop for 14 hours and none of the system temps went high. Physically the cards are not hot (the northbridge is a little hot, but within tolerence).
I will try and get some logs this afternoon for posting.
