Hello,
I am using MediaPortal 1.2.1 and am able to watch hd tv but my analog tuner does not work but is found by tv server. Here are my specs Core 2 Duo 2ghz, 3gb ddr2, 2x 100gb sata drives, 1 120gb external usb hdd for recordings, Mobility Radeon x1600, Realtek HD Audio Sabrent USB Hybrid Tuner x1 son to be x2, Vizio 32'' lcd tv and acer 22'' lcd monitor. I would like to use it byt media portal says it cant find encoders for the device and windows media center works out of the box 7 x32 and x64.
I also would like to test it on windows developer preview if you could make an installer that supports windows 8(NT 6.2) installation as NPVR supports running on that os. Had to switch back to seven for analog tv recording as the media portal installer won't even attempt to install the software on Windows NT 6.2 says platform unsupported. on same specs.
Drivers are BDA for the Microtune Digital tuner and just dshow for The Analog tuner and audio devices
Please help,
Joshua Booker
