[Android] Notifications from Android to Mediaportal (1 Viewer)

Hi All!

Having a look at XBMC Android Remote App (I'm sure that we well do, at least, an app as great as them) I realized that they have a cool feature to send notifications from Android to Mediaportal. Here you have a link to their google code's page:

And on the general features you can see:

"On incoming call, display who's calling on TV screen and pause video until call is over"
"On incoming message, display on TV screen"

What do you think about this kind of features? In my opinion they are really cool and I would love to see them integrated into the Android app.

Does anybody see any other practical usage for notifications from Android to Mediaportal?

This seems like an awesome feature. There is already a program on Android called "Android Notifier" (Remote Notifier for Android - Android app on AppBrain) which enables you to get a popup on a regular PC via Growl or the standard program. This could be used in MediaPortal aswell if I am not totally useless
