Annoying TV problem / black bar right side (1 Viewer)

Hmmm... Just did reinstall, and everything worked except TV... Problem was, that the image showed was compressed, and had black bar (approx 3 cm wide) in entire right side...

Not using TV server...

Worked fine in 0.2.2, so i assumed it was codec problem (experienced the same in 0.2.2, but choice of other codec solved problem)...
None of the codecs listed did the trick - so i installed NVIDIA purevideo codec i had lying around... And elecard Mpeg2 codec also...

An of course the TV then didnt work at all - locked MP, but i could ctrl-alt-del with no problem..

No prob - de-registered the drivers... But now when i try TV i get "Unable to greate graph" no matter what drivers i try...
Then tried installing ffdshow and choosing that as codec - no change...

Did the sensible thing - reinstalled... But problem with black bar persists...

Haven't installed the elecard/nvidia codec this time - also elected to refrain from installing any codecs other that ffdshow tryout - video files plays without any problems...

Is this a codec problem???
Would installing TV server solve problem?? (what version is most stable/recommended??)

It really bugs me - help would be highly appreciated...

Update...

Tried re-installing again... Installed XP SP2 and the drivers for MB/Audio/VGA and then the .net software (1.1 + 3.0 - not 2.0, is this a problem??) - but no updates at all (figured it could be related to an update)...

Then installed 0.2.3RC1 - and the problem persists on all channels: TV is compressed and moved to left side of screen - black bar in right side of screen occupies ca. 1/3rd of the viewing area.... I get this crazy idea, that the problem is, that MP configures the TV as if it should be displayed on a 4:3 screen, and then displays that on the left side of the 16:9 screen...

Stupid idea???

Anyway - Next idea is to install latest svn, then tvserver and last (if i get that far) will be different skins...

Input/suggestions will be appreciated....

Problem (finally) solved - did a total reinstall (including formatting and windoze from bottom) and switched from onboard graphics to a Sapphire x1300 card... No more black bar... Now there is stuttering in TV - but it looks like i'm not the only one seeing this with RC3, so i doubt its my hardware thats the problem....
