Best of Both Worlds

I always find OSD's very obtrusive. While this is mostly not a problem because the OSD is not visible most of the time, MP doesn't have a function to hide the OSD: you always have to wait for it to disappear. (Or am I missing something.)
Especially when paused this is annoying, because you can't look through it.

Therefore this skin (OSD 1) seems very good as it has a transparent background. Though the blue frame could be a bit thinner to further 'clear the screen from OSD'.

just press info/y or whichever key you used to get info to hide it in general.

Besides that, I like the transparent part in OSD 1 too.

Guys, I need to appologize for the delay. It's just I've been super busy this past week and then its christmas, so I just really didn't find the time yet.

I'll zip it up first thing tomorrow though. It's not finished completely yet, but I've been using it for the past 2 weeks so it should be perfectly usuable until I find the time to add some more things and fix some others. I have a few days off work now, so I'm hoping I'll get it finished this week. But for now I'll zip up what I have.

    Again, I'm sorry.

    You don't need to apologize!
Just have a merry Christmas and relax a bit.

But nevertheless, I'm looking forward using the skin. :D

    Regards

Ok, I've zipped it up. I just wanted to upload it to this new section on the new HP but apperantly its down :-(.

So can someone please host it? please pm me or respond to this thread. The file is 7.6 MB in size.

Ok, so what's in this version:
Everything you saw in the screenshots.
new style OSD for my videos (OSD1)
new style OSD for my TV (OSD2)
I've done this because I just didnt have the time to fix osd1 for mytv yet and osd2 is basically just a new background (which I already had) with the original xml from MCE. So at least something new is in there. I want to make osd1 for mytv also though. Hey, if someone finds the time to do this before me feel free to do so and upload it ;-)
I also want to make new sounds for it, but again this will have to wait.

You might/will notice some alignment issues and smaller problems. All in all though it works very well (as I said I've been using it exclusivly for the past two weeks).

Please tell me about problems you might find (I dont use all plugins, so there might be some things I completely missed).

    Thnx

PS: I will update the first post with the download link as soon as its hosted somewhere.

Hmm...seems they are streched out. What resolution are you running?

can you try running in 800x600 or 1024x768 and see if the problem remains?
