Any diagnostic support for Remote Ctrl? (1 Viewer)

I'm trying since quite some time to get the remote (which works with MCE) configured for MP. Looks like documentation about this topic is not yet up to speed, so I'd look for two things:

1. Documentation on how to configure the Remote Ctrl
2. Some advice on how to diagnose the configuration, if you are not sure what is being sent.

If have two remotes, both can control MCE (also not original MS), but in MP I'm getting inconsistent results; mostly the cursor keys and ok works, other keys work sometimes only.

So again: if somebody knows a way to diagnose what MP is actually receiving, would be the biggest help.
