Basically I have a number of HD DVD's and Blu Rays ripped to my hdd. All of the h264 encoded films work great using the powerdvd8 codec with h/w acceleration. However the majority of the films are VC1 encodes and I cannot get these films to play with h/w acceleration. I have checked the graph and the VC1 codec being used is the powerdvd one and H/W acceleration is ticked in the codec properties. However I did read somewhere vc1 acceleration is tied into powerdvd only. Therefore I would like to know if anyone has vc1 h/w acceleration working within mp and if so how did you do it(what codecs etc...)...
