Anyone use Win7 and HDHomerun? (1 Viewer)

I've spent all morning trying to get the TV server to work. My HDHomeRun works great through its config tool and Win7 MCE. With MP 1.1 beta it does not actually see any channels (scan goes by immediately with nothing found, software can't tune into manually defined channels). I tried the last 3 weekly builds, and they see the channels, but the TV service crashes during the channel scans (I can't even stop it, I must reset the computer). Is there a version that works, or something I'm missing? Win7 MCE actually works pretty well, it just records useless .wtv files that I can't RR or FF on connected PS3s.

I've got a similar set up (Win 7 x64 with the beta of MP) and have the same experience. It is driving me mad. I'm considering dumping the HD Home run and getting a different card unless there is a fix out there.

I found the HDHomeRun to be fantastic hardware, and it works amazingly well with Win7 MC. In 10 minutes you can have it entirely setup and all programs scheduled to record. The only problem is it writes .WTV files, which can be converted to .DVR-MS files or recompressed to a much more open format. I think I'm sticking with the convert to .DVR-MS then automatically remove commercial solution for watching on non-MC devices. I don't think there's a simple and perfect solution.

I'm dual booting right now, so one side of the boot is into Win7. You are right, the HDHR has absolutely no issues and works great in the Win 7 MCE. Were it not for the wife, I would be quite satisfied with this second best solution. but, as its not acceptable to her to watch and record live TV in one app and recorded movies, dvds, etc. in a second app . . the search continues.

I just posted my personal experience with hdhomerun, windows 7 x64 and have it all up and running smoothly with EPG/tv guide running too!
