Wow, this looks great already! I think we will have some limitations when we implement this as XAML vector graphics, but we will make it looking good as well.
Btw, did I mentioned that we really would need a "drop shadow" shader? Is there anyone who is able to code it? In theory we only need to take the alpha channel of a texture, shift it and use gaussian blurring. In theory it's easy, but I don't know how to code this in HLSL.
MP2's MenuModel provides all "menu buttons" without grouping. If we want to implement your layout ideas, we need a custom model which provides such grouping features:

Audio Library
Webradio
PartyMusicPlayer
"Mediahub":
Series
Movies
Videos
And there will be more items which are "ungrouped" or only dynamically available (player control, fullscreen action...)
Am i getting too complex for the current implementation of the skin engine ? are there specific things that can't be added yet ?
I can add the tv section no problem i was just unsure of whether it was included yet or not or is it just slimTV ?( new to the MP2 side of things sorry ).
As a rule of thumb: nearly everything that you can design in MS Expression Blend (xaml) will work in MP2 xaml as well (with a few exceptions like shadows, which can be added as semi-transparent graphics)
Thanks guys I'm glad your liking it so far, I plan on keeping the design for tv series as a sort of default for tvseries/moving pictures and my videos so no matter which one your in it flows the same an keeps the waf factor at the same time
