Great news! I could finally find and fix the issue with VisualBrushes as OpacityMasks: https://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP2-455

This means, we can now have rounded corners by vector based masks. One single mask matches all sizes without aspect ratio disruption "One size fits all"

This issue bugged me a long time...

If by the caption you mean eg " choose a series" i think its unessesary and lets be fair you should know where you are if you clicked to be there.

Mathias, sorry that I still didn't pushed my branch. I have got a really bad cold with fever and all this stuff last Sunday and still had to finish all the reports and so. I am really sorry.

Totally like the design of the skin! Guess its gonna be time soon for me to go MP2-way...

I've added a StringCaseConverter that is able to convert to LowerCase, UpperCase and TitleCase. It can be used for abitary text (I've done so in tab menu button label).

One idea, since I like that kind of form very much: how about small caps too? Imho this looks really good for titles. Hopefully the english term ist correct. What I mean is to have all characters UpperCase, but the first character is larger than the following characters.

This is not so easy, because it's not a simple modification of the string, but you would need to change font size of single characters.
Simple solution would be to find a TrueType font which provides such a style like: EXAMPLE

I think I've nearly met your design, with few exceptions:

• The navigation bar needs to fill the available space, because it calculates ellipsis items "..." as place holder if path gets too long. So the bar is using the available space
• The remaining "gap" on right side is used as indicator for messages of "NotificationControl" (hint or error sign. clicking on it shows details).

I hope you can live with this interpretation of your idea

Next step done: I have removed the content border for all other screens.

But I have kept the header text as small label in screen. I'm not yet convinced that we should leave it away.

This brings me to new problems:

• We currently don't have "Series" description available. The reason is, that this information is not yet(!) available as own aspect. This is currently worked on. For design this means that we don't have a series description to show in bottom
• And if we have content to show there. how should we deal with the player controls? Overlap text?

Hi.
Is there something like "Selected Item name"? What I mean is... If you look at your screen you see the title of "Game of Thrones" is cut at the end... Ok, as we see the cover we definitely can identify what is selected. But now use Grid View in Seasons and imagine a series like "The Simpsons" or "Doctor Who (1963)" with lots and lots of seasons. The most important part from the name of the selected item (the season number) is invisible as is will be cut off. What I would like to see above or below the grid is the name of the selected Item. So one easily can see which season is selected. And I'm pretty sure this looks nice in Series, Movies and Episodes view too...
