Hi.
Here is a fast mockup of what I want it to look like:

The current item's name will be shown in bottom of screen (see wiz's screens). The media items themselves are not yet touched and next part to be worked on (all different styles: small-mid-big list, grid, cover).

@wizard123 I have added the config screens that will use a basic menu layout (where we won't use the "dialog style" approach).

I would rather the breadcrumb background be a bar right the way across the screen without a gap and the info icon can sit on top ? glad you only see this when using a mouse.
The only thing the is needed is selected series/episode name etc like lehmden says but not things like " choose a series ".
I have attached the pic again for people who missed it to show the item title / description.

As for the players if they have content to show they should still only be visible as long as you don't have anything selected like an episode for instance you should see the info instead of players but be able to press down or info button to jump straight to the players if required.

I will take a look at settings today.

Yes, should be possible.

Regarding your screenshot above we need to define the intended functions:

1. The left part contains a grid of all items (cover view). Do we support the list(s) view(s) as well? User can change them as desired.
2. From what data the big covers are shown for? What interaction do they allow?
3. The bottom text area: there is "Grimm" (title) shown. Is the upper "3" part of the name?

I think i know what you mean i do the same in athena home with video preview which is visible but if i select an item that would show info where it is displayed the player slides out of the way and then slides back when when i move to another menu.

Yes initially there will be the current grid view and listview, i will work on list view today.

They are intended to be your top two favourite shows for quick access to them ( function may need adding to videos/series plugins though ? ).

The 3 is to indicate the number of seasons or episodes if you are already viewing a season.

I decided on a centered breadcrumb without the background it's much cleaner and info indicator when there is a message etc.
