are subtitles possible? (1 Viewer)

hi, i am trying to play a serie in tvseries,and audio and video work perfect but i dont get the subtitles that are in a .srt file in the same directory.

are subtitles and option in tvseries? if they are, how do i activate them?

I use ffdshow/vobsub to play subtitles both in mp-tvseries and videos, i suggest you check out http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/

wow ,thanks for that, i didnt know ffdshow had that option. GREAT !! i was using ffdshow so it was less than one minute to make it work.

i guess for someone that does not use ffdshow will be good that tvseries had the option, but it worked for me.

It really doesn't have anything to do with the tvseries plugin as it just hands off whatever file to MP which then plays it with whatever codecs/filters directshow finds.
