Are TV logos cached ??? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I was just going to try out some different TV channel logos, to see which ones I like best. So I took one from each set, renamed them so I would get to seem them under eachother in my TV guide, and put them in my Thumbs\TV\Logos folder.

Big is my surprise however, to see that my old logos still show up! See the attached screenshot. So I thought I would just move the old Logos folder away, and start with a fresh folder, but still I get to see logos which are not in the current Logos folder at all!

Note in the screenshot you only see logos to the first 4 channels. I had logos for all channels, but I removed the old logos folder. So MP is right in detecting there are only 4 logos, but it is not displaying the ones that are in the logos folder...

I've restarted MediaPortal, restarted the computer, changed the file modification times to the current time (to force MP to see they are actually new), but nothing helps. I keep seeing logos that aren't there really.

Should I start looking for a witch doctor, or are the logos cached somewhere?

Have you tried deleting the mediaportal/cache folder for the skin you are currently using?

I haven't had any problems with this before, and have never heard anybody mention this. Is that cache a new feature in MP? Or is there something wrong where it should normally automatically update with changed logos?

I thought ever since the cache was introduced it was necessary to delte the skin files in the cache, even for logos.
