I don't think it needs much, perhaps just a note immediately above you view screen shots:
"Each of the views you set up becomes available in the 'Switch View" list when browsing music in MediaPortal. Within each view in the configuration, each line becomes another step, starting at the top and working down. So in the first view shown below you are initially presented with a list of albumartists, if you select one you get a list of that artist's albums, then if you select an album you get the tracks."
Maybe I'm dumbing it down too much....but I didn't find the mp way of setting this up that intuitive, and I'm not usually that slow
