ASIO engine and BASS Player (2 Viewers)

Hi there,

I use ASIO playing mode in MP 1.6 together with an external DAC.

My initial question:
Does the Output level really manipulates the music data?

I do not want any filtering of my music files and so I have disabled all DSP and fading parameters. But if I adjust the Bass Player Output level to 100% the music quality is worse compared to 75% I think. Are there any hidden DSP features I can not disable?

Could anybody help here?
