Hi everyone, I am using MediaPortal with FFDshow to upscale my TV/Videos/everything and I encountered a big problem. Somehow FFDShow seems to ignore the aspect ratio tag on anamorphic video, how can i change that?
For example a DVD coded in 720x576 will be upscaled, but only using the wrong 5:4 aspect ratio of the source material. I can correct it manually, but since I am using ffdshow for Movies and TV as well, I have to change it everytime I use it.
Using TV the problem is similar, when I watch via DVB-T the broadcast is in 704x576 (11:9) and needs to be resized to 4:3, or its in 720x576 anamorphic for 16:9 broadcasts. I need a way to tell ffdshow to recognize the original aspect ratios, when I open the configuration during playback it shows the correct ratio in the Resize & Aspect tab, but it somehow doesn't use it.
