What setting, for mpeg2 you should chose cyberlink PowerDVD codec

Do the install yourself and ignore codec-packs. I use PowerDVD 8, ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and AC3 filter.

This is the only one that actually incorporates all the codecs into the windows system, so WMP and MCE, besides MP all work flawlessly, believe me I have tried a zillion minimalistic options and they do not fully integrate with windows itself.

Also I love the word codec pack, most just register the filters, they do not sort out filetypes, which is what VCP is good at.

Besides mainly consisting of FFDShow\MPC-MC\Haali media splitter\vobsub, with easy settings to switch to dxva if available, whats the difference.

Please do not knock something, unless you have tried it.
