I have gone through all the available aspect ratios during Video playback and none give the proper aspect ratio to make the video not look stretched in one way or another. I have a 1024x768 pixel plasma TV but is a wide screen 16:9. This resolution is a 4:3 resolution mapped on a 16:9 surface, so unlike standard monitors the pixel spacing is higher horizontaly than verticaly. In order for the video to look right there needs to be some kind of aspect ratio that stretches the video verticaly by a certain factor to compensate. Zoomplayer has this aspect ratio. They call it 16:9 but this does not exist in MediaPortal. How can one achieve this aspect corection with MediaPortal? Some filter or something?
