Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to assign the bluray popup menu to a button on my mce remote ?

For now the popup menu is available in the context menu when you press the "more ( i )" button on the remote.
But it would be great if this popup menu could be assigned to a button.
If it can be done, what are the steps to assign the button ?

Thanks in advance.
Greetings,
Soxbrother

you mean assigned to a different button.
you can edit remotes in the mp config, or if you want to change it further you can manually edit the mceremote.xml file in the mediaportal programdata directory

In the remote options under the mapping options, and under for example the "dvd menu" button, there's the action section and there's you can choose from a list of available actions, but there's no "pop-up menu" action.
The only actions I find that are related are "context menu" and "show action menu" and "dvd menu"

The dvd menu button gives another bluray menu, but crashes the playback.
Haven't tried the other 2 actions yet, but I don't think they will give me the pop-up menu I need.

Maybe it's possible to make a custom action for this ?
    Any Thoughts ?

copy all the functions + conditions under "info" a replicate them under the desired button.
When you describe a pop up menu, I believe you are describing the context menu.

Actually when I press the "info" (more) button I first get a progress bar below
and if I press it again I get a context menu, from there I can choose "pop-up menu"
    That's the "pop-up menu" I meant.

It's not a big problem, to acces it that way, but it would be great if that action could be achieved by pressing a single button.

From the keyboard you press F9 once and then choose "6. Pop-up menu"

Thanks for your help so far.
Hopefully it can be done ?[DOUBLEPOST=1352553550][/DOUBLEPOST]I read that you can also create macro's for buttons, maybe it can be done with this, or not ?

I'd just set it to context menu and not use a macro.
if you have the mcremote.xml set to context then a macro starting with context and the macro launching with the same button then it will activate context twice and cancel each other.

Sounds like a missing feature on Blu-ray side - at least I cannot remember that it would have been implemented.
