Assign 'Shift + 1' to MCE remote button? (1 Viewer)

How do I go about assigning 'Shift + 1' to a button on my MCE remote? I can't seem to find an action to do this under the MCE mapping configuration and can't figure out how to set up the 'Key Pressed' action to simulate 'shift +1' or '!' being pressed.

I just want to be able to bring up the video diagnostic screen/graph via the remote control.

This could probably be acheived with third party apps but I can't help but think this must be possible via a mediaportal configuration change.
