    Hi all,

I would like to build a new Tv Server for my MultiSeat Mediaportal configuration (1 Client).
This new Tv-Server should be small enough to be integrated into my network case, so it has to be a ITX Board.
This server is only for recording, timeshifting and to watch recordings with a tablet computer.
Maybe in future we will have more than one client.

I was searching for some days to find out the right motherboard.

    So I found this one:

    ASUS C8HM70-I/HDMI
    http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/C8HM70IHDMI/

This board I will equip with 8GB Ram, SSD for system and HDD for recordings.

My question is regarding the performance of this itx board.
Would you say the performance of the motherboard is sufficient?

    Which alternatives you would suggest?

    Thanks for answer

    Greetings

Yes, if it's just doing normal TV server recording/timeshifting/streaming to an MP client with no transcoding.
