Hi all!
I've been trying to make my new HTPC to work for a while now and I have a huge problem with dvb reception within MediaPortal. I've tried so many different things that it would make such a long list that I'm trying a different approach and asking: Does anyone have Asus P5E-VM HDMI and Terratec Cinergy 1200-C as motherboard and tv-card and have you been able to make it work?
I have spent MANY hours now changing settings, drivers, codecs, even operating systems and harware but result is always the same: tv picture stutters and hangs and is totally unwatchable. With Terratec's Home Cinema I am able to make it work, but only with Overlay renderer. Other video and audio files work with no problems, but not live tv. I also tested tv-card with my older pc and it works there perfectly with latest version of MediaPortal, so the card is not broken or problem is not Mediaportal itself. I have read through this forum and Googled for solutions but nothing has helped.
I would appreciate any comments with other users with same motherboard and/or tv-card for good advice or just to confirm that it is possible to make it work. Or should I just accept that these components are not compatible with each other?
