I noticed a post regarding ChrisTV where they supposedly got their hands on some beta drivers from ATI that supposedly gave access to raw, non-compressed video for live preview, with improved picture quality.

I have also noticed tv programs that have hacked the ATI API to allow setting parameters that are normally hidden.

What is happening in this area? I remember a post where one guy was thinking of doing the same things in MP?

    If you know any developers who wish to look at the code and address it then feel free to have them submit a patch.
