I reinstalled the XP on my HTPC and decided to go with Mediaportal instead of PowerCinema. It worked fine for a breif moment and then stopped and now Mediapotal reports that it can't create graph when I try to tune in stations. PowerCinema 4 works fine.

I've tried reinstalling from scratch (OS and all) several times over but am unable to get it to work again. Please help me out. I'm sure there's someone out there that knows what I need to do and can save me from this unending reinstallation madness.

- 2GB RAM
- 400GB HD
- Sapphire Theatrix 550 pro Tuner
- Sapphire X1600 512MB Video card

Things only get worse

I removed the ATI All in wonder tuner that was listed under the Tuner config screen hoping that Mediaportal would be able to re-detect it but that didn't happen. now i have no tuner at all unde mediaportal even though PowerCinema continues to work fine.

Any pointers on how to get this card working with Mediaportal would be greatly appreciated. I browsed the supported hardware lists and there is mention of this card but no steps on how to make it happen. I am clueless about creating graphs so that's an area that I may not venture into.

My Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro has the same issue. I have the latest drivers. I run MMC 9.08 for my ATi TV Wonder Pro. MMC 9.14/9.15 both pick up the card and display. I had this working for about a day. I closed Media Portal and poof. Gone. I don't even get radio anymore. If you have a fix, let me know.

Just a heads up, guys - after I threw a hissy fit over in the installation section, some kind-hearted people took pity on me, moved the thread over here and may be finding a an answer to the problem.

Here's the thread:

Best of luck,
