ATI TV Wonder HD 650 USB support (1 Viewer)

I just bought a new TV tuner for my computer (an ATI TV Wonder HD 650 USB), and everything has been working great running SageTV. However, I don't want to pay for that software when my trial expires, so I was hoping to get Media Portal running by then.

I have installed every driver I could need for my device and it works just fine with SageTV, BeyondTV, and Windows MC. But when I go to configure Media Portal, the software cannot detect my card. I tried to edit the CaptureCard definitions XML file, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to change (I played around with the device ids, and the capture name). If anybody could give me any help it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what I would need to supply for anybody to help me.

Digital: Should work with TVE3, if you have BDA-drivers

In general the tvserver supports

1. any DVB/ATSC card which has BDA drivers
2.any analog card with h/w encoding onboard
3. some analog cards which use s/w encoding
4. the SkyStar-2/Airstar-2/CableStar-2 cards

I guess the analogue part is SW encoding, so don't hold your breat there...

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this situation. I have the Visiontek ATi HD600 usb stick, and it is not recognized when I load media portal. any thoughts?
