Its the amount of weight the edges have, and not the amount of space inwards. If you change the values you can see in the middle how AtmoWin uses it. The green shows which part of the screen gets used and how much weight it gets (shown be the gradiant of the green).</p><p>Afaik AtmoWin is the only software that actually uses this kind of system, where pixel more to the edge have a bigger weight that ones more to the center.
