Hi devs,
I am unsure if this is the propper location for this thread/question. If not, I appologize.
I recently found a situation which I think might be best solved through MPEI. (I am a noob saying this)
When installing SAF 6.10, it asks us to uninstall the LAV filter MPEI. It does so in I think a normal way.
If I restart the MediaPortal Extension Installer and check what extentions need updating, LAV filter is still flagged as being installed, while it is not.
So in this case updating it probably results in some codec issue I cannot comprehand.
In my (simple) perception, either SAF executes a different than normal uninstall procedure, and/or MediaPortal Extension Installer doesnt check correctly what Extentions actually are still installed. Two possible solutions are available: 1 Fix it on SAF side; 2 - Fix it on MPEI side.
Well I hope someone can help the situation a little bit and maybe even improve it.
