    Hi,

I've got the problem, that I cannot view Euronews (DVB-C) correctly. If I remember right, I need to change the codec, but in mediaPortal2 Client I can even switch between LAV and the Windows-Codec.

I am working under Windows 10 Pro, with Mediaportal 2 Summer Release 15 Update 1, K-Lite-Codec-Pack is installed, but the installed ffdshow is not availble in Mediaportal 2.

I checked out this Threads, but they both couldn't help anyway:

You'd likely have better luck getting rid of all codecs barring LAV Filters. K-Lite is stupidly old fashioned and ffdshow isn't needed either.

    Hm, that did not help.
So, I have removed K-lite-Codec-Pack, after this lav was also uninstalled totaly, therefore I couldn't watch anything.
Then I have installed LAV Filters manual, but euronews is still "unwatchable".

What codecs does it use? Record it and use MediaInfo if you're not sure. LAV Filters should be able to handle all TV broadcasts.

"Installing" may not be enough. Did you verify that the LAV settings include MPEG2 files? Is the problem limited to Euronews, i.e. can the standard MPEG2 channels like Pro Sieben etc. be watched?
