    False Adware?

I had a problem where Bass.dll was called adware (or was it spyware?) by my antivirus suite (Zone Alarm). Try checking that there isn't anything Bass.dll in your if you are running internet security.

I found mine by reinstalling Zone alarm, having it work, getting the file caught, letting it quarantine, losing the ability to play, then restoring it.

    Good luck
