Hi I'm having some problems with playback of 1080p mkv-movies on my system. The video plays back just perfect with the CoreAVC-codec, but the audio is out of sync, and since the amount of how much out of sync it is varies from codec to codec I'm guessing it's a codecproblem, and not a HD-problem.

My htpc can not play 1080p video with any other videocodec then coreavc (haven't tried cyberlink yet tough) and as I said the audio is out of sync with ffdshow, MPA, Dscaler and nvidia audio decoder.

Is the cyberlink package just as good, or almost as good as the coreAVC, so that if I install it then I'll get same performance on video, and in-sync audio?

This is the info I have on the movie:

    Û ViDEO.CODEC...: x264 Û
    Û FRAMERATE.....: 23.976 Û
    Û BiTRATE.......: 8752kbps Û
    Û RESOLUTiON....: 1920x800 (2.40:1) Û
    Û AUDiO.........: English AC3 5.1 640kbps (transcoded from DD+) Û
    Û SUBTiTLES.....: N/A Û
    Û SOURCE........: The Polar Express 2004 HD-DVD VC1 1080p

HD-DVD ripped to x264 mkv file.
