Audio Distortion with MP3 Play back ... (1 Viewer)

Hi, Windows Media Player installed and all ok. But when playing MP3s in MediaPortal I get distortion at higher volumes... Is there a way to force MP to use my drivers, codecs from Windows Media Palyer 10 ?

If I don't have Windows Media Player 9 installed, where does MP get its codecs and how ca nI select a codec that works without this distortion ?
