I am having trouble trying to get Dolby out of my Amplifier from Live TV. Dolby, DTS and so on work fine when playing a bluray.

I have my HTPC connected to my Amplifier and i then have another cable outputting to my TV from the Amplifier.

I have selected AMD in the sound config within windows and also selected the same in MP config/codecs. But all that displays on the amp when a DD source is on, is PCM?

Kinda struggling. Any Ideas?

Hello!
You should use "Default DirectSound Device" as Audio Renderer.
Which MPEG/AC3 decoder are you using in TV section?

Hi, i was using lav audio decoder but i had not ticked dts dolby etc in the settings. All is working now so thanks
