Audio of one TV channel is out of sync - others are fine (1 Viewer)

I'm very happy with MP at the moment, however I have an issue with one of the TV channels. Audio is all the time a few hundred milliseconds out of sync. This happens with both live TV and recorded shows, but only with this one channel. It seems that all the other channels are in perfect sync, also other channels in the same multiplex.

FYI to Finnish people, YLE1, YLE2, Nelonen, Sub are in sync but MTV3 is not.

Is there something I could try to fix this?

I have noticed that also. (even my father did notice it when he was visiting me few weeks ago). Unfortunately I cannot think anything that could cause only one channel to be out of sync other than that the brodcaster would be sending the audio out of sync.

Have you tried to check the same stream & channel with some settop box to see if it is also out of sync?

I haven't tried that right now because I rely completely on MP, in what comes to DVB-C reception!

However it is one of the most popular TV channels in Finland, so I would be surprised if it really is out of sync - and has been for several weeks. Unfortunately I can't remember when I noticed this for the first time. I could ask from neighbours if they have any issues.

I too have one out of 200+ channels out of sync here in Holland: National Geographic HD.
I find it hard to imagine they would broadcast the AC3 audio out of sync... I don't know how I can get DVB-C stream info for the video (codec, bitrate,etc).
I wish MP had an option to play a bit with the audiosyncing...

Same here with North American satellite (DVB-S). It seems to happen for me only on HD channels. It's almost constant on HD channel with 5.1 surround.

I agree with the comment about it not being the broadcast. I have never, ever seen audio sync problems outside of MP, especially on a High Def movie channel.

I really hope this issue is taken seriously and investigated.
