I am not sure if I missed something in the configuration or what but I can watch from both tuners, but it appears that I only get audio from my analog tuner I have included my log file. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it, thanks!

Hi, I'm no expert in logs so I will leave that for someone else.

In the mean time, play around with the audio source and see if that makes a difference. Feedback please.

I appreciate the suggestion I will have to try it later when I get a chance, and will let you know the results. I am assuming though that the adjustments to the audio source would be done in the MP server/configuration or do I need to go through some other source? I will play around with it later though, thanks!

I tried to edit the Audio properties for the individual channels for the ATSC tuner in question, but did not see any options for audio. My Analog tuner gives me audio options for each channel but not the ATSC tuner. I have included a picture of the options it gives me. Let me know if you can think of anything else to try.

Sorry the image is in the zip file because I could not get the forum to let me upload a jpg by itself.

Did you try to play your ATSC channels within the TVServer Config with the Preview command. Is the sound also muted there?

Yes, I have tried using the preview and there still is no sound with the ATSC channels. Yet the analog channels do have sound using the preview in the server config. I am thinking of trying to reinstall the tuner to see if that helps.

The logs in your first post include a graph with successful connection for both video and audio. Was this done with the analogue card or the digital one? If it was the digital card you certainly have an audio driver problem.

It could of course also be a TV card driver issue but you may want first to verify with GraphEdit which audio codec is actually used within MediaPortal.

I have switched the tuners so that the digital tuner is loading and have posted the log below. I am still working on the issue so if you see anything that might help then I would appreciate it. Thanks!

If analog (NTSC) audio plays fine and ATSC/QAM audio doesn't then the audio renderer is fine - I believe it is your choice of audio codec that is the problem. FFDShow can be complicated to get working. Since many of your ATSC channels appear to have AC3 audio I'd recommend AC3Filter (also free) instead. However if you really want to persist with FFDShow then I'd recommend you:

    1. Use the FFDShow video decoder as well, rather than the MPC one (codecs work best with their partner).
    2. Make sure that MPEG 2 and AC3 decoder libraries are enabled in the FFDShow audio codec settings.
