Having not given up yet, I DID find Goose's codec guide (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codec_guide-t30191.html?t=30191&highlight=codec+guide). I went through and implemented all of that. WMV now works without resorting to EVR.That's problems 1 & 2 solved.Any advice on number 3 before I just re-encode?
