You should set it to 5.1 (assuming that's what you have). If it's set to the default of stereo speakers, windows will only ever try to output two channels of sound. You will also need to use something other than S/PDIF as this is for a digital coaxial connection through a single cable. If your existing codecs don't work you could try installing ffdshow and using its AC3 and DTS decoders.</p></blockquote><p></p>
