Audio problem (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have 2 issues actually that one of you out there may have the answer to, firstly when I view specifically Eurosport from my client pc I have no audio, but when I view the channel from the server I have sound, I have tried to make sure all the correct codecs are installed, and just to say that all other channels work.

I realise this has to be some sort of codec issue, but I am out of ideas.

the second issue is the fact that I cannot view or play any movie and mp3 files from the client, after messing around with the views I can get it to list the images for the movies, but it doesn't actually seem to see the files, and subsequently wont play anything.

I have also another client that I've tested with exactly the same results, it's as if it's not streaming the audio at all on that channel.

I had same problem, no audio.
The solution (for me) was to unmute MediaPortal by pulling up the volume with MCE remote control (volume was already at the maximum, but was only displayed, not set)

Ok, I've managed to solve the problem, I had to install the descaler codec, once installed the audio for the problem channel returned.
