    AW: Re: Audio Renderer Changer

Works like a charm! Thank you for the very fast update :)

Changing audio output with a keyboard shortcut works fine. Now I have to find out how to do this with my Logitech One remote. This remote has been set up as an generic MCE remote. I think I need some extra software to convert a "normal" button (f.e. the blue button) to the shortcut I have configured, [Ctrl] + [K]. Or is there an other way to do this?

You can do it by MediaPortal-Actions. So you have to configure your MCE-Remote-Button you wish to the action, which you chosen in ARC-config...

    @agamemnon:
Perhaps I could help you when you give me a short description of your problem...
Is there any exception, or what?

I guess mapping a MCE remote button to a MP-action is as easy possible, but I really can't figure it out . I can't find a good tutorial on how to add these custom actions...

I want to map MP-action ACTION_NEXT_BOOKMARK to the blue button of my MCE remote. I think I need to add this action under the extended buttons --> My TV. Here I can add a new action (Next bookmark), but I don't know how to map this action to the blue button of my MCE.

    Thanks for your patience :D

I've attached a screenshot for you.

There you choose your button and then you condition and switch to action and choose "Next Bookmark" with the combo box.

I couldn't find the config of the colored buttons, because I wasn't looking in the Teletext buttons group .

Now I found the config for the blue and yellow buttons so I could set them up the way you described. For the Bass-player I configured the ACTION_PREV_BOOKMARK in the ARC set-up, and also the [Ctrl] + . The MCE config looks like this:
    MCE_mapping.png

Now when I use the yellow button I can hear the click.wav sound, but no output is changed. Also no OSD is shown. When I use [Ctrl] + the audio output is changed, but also with the keyboard shortcut no OSD is shown.
Also when playing a video (so not using the Bass player) I can change output with the keyboard shortcut, but the mapped MCE button doesn't work.

I see one other strange thing --> When I change the MP-action so some random other action, save with [OK], leave the MP config with [OK] and I re-open the MP config and the ARC config the MP-action shows the default value again. My xml now shows as follows:
    Code:

Thank you very much for your work.

But I do not work. Nothing appears in Mp, or change output

    Mediaportal 1.2.1
ARC 0.8.1 "I have previous proven"
    Professional 32-bit Windows 7
    Saf 5.2 audio ffdshow
    MCE Remote

    I need:

    1. stereo - tv
    2. SPIDF-pass through - AV

    steps:

    1. Two settings of ffdshow, audio decoding and pass through. ok.
    2. ARC set up with two outs, Direct sound / Spidff. Ffdshow configurations assigned.
    3. I assign a command from the command "remote0". Save settings.
    4. I return to the ARC settings and I changed to NEXT_BOOKMARK
    5. I open MP. K, keyboard does nothing. Remote not ok
    :D

    agamenon:
Do you have rights to change the registry with your user you are running MP?

Why do you have all 4 renderers in your config?
Please try to user onle the two DirectSound devices:
DirectSound: AMD HDMI Output (AMD High Definition Audio Device)
DirectSound: Audio digital (S/PDIF) (Dispositivo de High Definition Audio)
    And remove the rest.

    chielmi:
I will have a look on the source this weekend. Maybe there is an error with BASS and MePo actions ;)
But for videos it should work, at least other users said...

    I have the following problem:
In TV-Mode ARC works with keyboard, but not with my remote.

Does anybody have an idea what's wrong?

    Thanks

    Thank you!

As a temporal solution I have now installed LM remote keymap to simulate a keyboard key with the yellow button of my remote. Works fine, but it would of course be better to configure this within the ARC configuration. I hope you can find a solution for this :)
