I'm testing a 2nd client on my network on which I also have configured the audioscrobbler plugin.
Is it not possible to use the plugin with the same account on 2 different systems?
For some reason, it doesn't submit to last.fm or fill my playlist.

Have removed the account and added again, disabled in the config or in MP, unchecked/checked in MP and even tried these by closing and starting MP again in case something got stuck but no difference.

Any idea what might be wrong or where to look?

    TIA

No, you can't. As soon as the 2nd machine "handshakes" with the last.fm webservices your authentication of the 1st machine is void.

Hi rtv, is this still an issue if I'm not using them simultaneous - which I'm doing.

Apart from this, my main system has stopped scrobbling without any apparent reason.
In the mp log, it says '[Info.][Scrobbler event(21)]: Audioscrobbler plugin: Unknown track:...' for all the tracks where as nothing has changed.
Did a manual rescan of my database, disabled, rebooted and enabled the plugin again but without any difference...
Any idea what might be wrong?

This not scrobbling issue is very persistent, I even tried to delete my account settings from the plugin, rebooted and inserted the credentials again but again no change.
Is there some way to reset this plugin completely?

    TIA

It stores it's setting in the Music Database.
Either delete and re-create the music database or, if you don't want to scan your music again, use some SQLite utility to delete the rows from the audioscrobbler tables.

Hi hwahrmann, I've managed to open that database with MySQL Administrator and found 4 ?schemata's? (information_schema, mptvdb, mysql and test) and if I look at the tables I cannot seem to find anything related to music/audioscrobbler.
Can you point in the right direction since I'm clueless concerning this.

    Thanks for helping out!

    Hi,
Peter2, thats the tvdb for TV Server & not the music db MP uses.
The MusicDatabaseV11.db3 in "ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database" can be opened with SqliteBrowser (use google to find it).

    Regards
    Roy

Hi ronilse, go figure how much I know about this...
Ok, I have the right db now and I see a few tables related to scrobbling (scrobblemode, scrobbletags, scrobbleusers and scrobblesettings)
Is deleting scrobbleusers the right/only thing to do?

I had this issue once before in an earlier version of MP and back then, it was enough to disable, re-enable the plugin and/or to delete the user from the configuration utility but even if I do this now, the username stays there and I only have to provide the password. Maybe there is some connection to the problem I have...

    TIA!

    ?Anyone?

Don't wanna make things worse by doing something wrong by deleting to much.
