Hi,

Audiostream-Selection doesnt work. Tried to change von mpeg-German to mpeg-English or AC3. Nothing happens.

In recorded .ts Streams all Audiostreams are included.

Try and activate "debug log level" in MP config instead of "info level".

Is the initial language wrong (always track 1).
Or is it the audio menu selection that doesnt work.

Try and "regsvr32 tsreader.ax" on your client.
Please report back the date and filesize (bytes) of tsreader.

This seems to always happen when interfaces er changed in tsreader.

    Hi,

the initial stream is wrong cause "Prefer AC3" is set in the tv-client. It always starts with stream 1 (mpeg german)

The Audio menu selsection doesnt work, too.

    My tsreader.ax is from 29.10.07 19:47 372kb

    After regsvr32 tsreader.ax

The MP Client freezes completely when i try to Start TV.

Seems like u r not running the latest tv plugin. I know this since I added some extra logging info that your mp.log does not contain.

The log states that u do NOT have preferac3 enabled in mp.xml

    This line in mp.log

    "TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): preferred lang idx:0 False"

The last "false" part tells us that preferac3=false.
It should be true if it is enabled.

So the tvplugin is behaving as it should.
Try and open mediaportal.xml, look for preferac3, set it to yes - then retry.

could u tell me the exact filesize in bytes of tsreader.ax ?

i tried it first with "Prefer AC3" and then withaout "Prefer AC3", thats right.

TV- Plugin is installed from SVN 16392

The Problem is now sinc regsvr32 tsreader.ax i got "No audio/video" an then MP Client crashes completely.

Here a the logs with "Prefer AC3" on

After regsvr tsreader.ax again, it works i got audio and video.

And i can change the AudioStream now!

    Prefer AC3 also works now.

But if i choose the AC3-Stream i got only stuttering. And after some changes MP crashes.

    Cheers

Ok, u seem to have the latest tsreader.ax installed on the client.

We need some others to confirm this as well.

this line should appear in your mp.log
    "TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): setting audioIndex on tsreader"

    But it doesnt ?

    Hi,

i dont know why this do not appear.

Changing Audiostream from mpeg-German works very well now, but changing to AC3-Stream causes lots of stuttering and a crash and restart after 2-3 sec.

On recorderd ts Files. Audiostream changing works very well including AC3

    Cheers
    Skar

    Update:
Tested a little bit with Codecs.

AC3-Stream works well on recorded files and on live TV with MPA-Decoder.

AC3-Stream only stutters, PC restarts after 2-3 sec. with PowerDVD7-Audio Codec.

I seem to remember powerdvd audio codecs not being very compatible with tsreader.
So ATM I would advice u to steer clear of those...

So right now it works for u (using mpa codec) ?
