australia epg problems?? (1 Viewer)

hey guys,

very new to mediaportal, im trying to get media portal to pick up my australian epg but am not really sure what i am doing...

i have tried to follow the wiki with no luck

basically i have installed media portal and have the plugin WEBEPG

channels load up fine and play fine, only thing missing is epg data

can somone please help out and explain what i need to do to set this up??

If you like to use WebEPG you should do the following:
1. Enable WebEPG plugin in TV-Server Configuration.
2. Select your country and press Auto Map. With and luck most of your channels will be correctly mapped.
3. Check the TV Mappings tab and fix any channels that wasn't correctly mapped.
4. Go back to the General tab and press Save and Grab Now!
5. Optional. Set Schedule time and days to automatically update the EPG.

You digital tv tuner should be able to get EPG info automatically.
In the TV Server Configuration application u need to "enable" EPG to start grabbing

or the above post.. webepg is another way of getting epg info
