[Question] Authentication Required (1 Viewer)

I'm new to Emby and MP. I have both up and running. MPextended 0.6.0.4 in Emby gives "Unable to connect to MP, please review your connection settings before continuing".

http://localhost:4322/MPExtended/MediaAccessService/json/GetServiceDescription gives "Authentication Required". My windows l/p does not work.

I am also having problems logging into my NAS by hostname although IP works fine. There are rumors this is related to a Win10 bug/feature in SMB3, but all MP install and data is local.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Authentication is a default setting of MPExtended - user: admin, password: admin.
Although this is in general working in the MediaPortal plugin for Emby, if you don't want to use WebMediaPortal or aMPdroid,
i recommend you to disable authentication in the MPExtended configuration tool.
