I've a tiny little issue with subtitles since I updated to Version 1.13. I watch pretty much most of my tv series and movies with subtitles. So in config -> videos -> subtitles i've enabled "subtitles will be auto loaded by language preferences. This worked fine until 1.13. Could this be a bug? I'm not aware that I changed anything other than the general update.

This part was reworked to be correct 
I have explain it in other post but i will retry here lol
So before 1.13 MP try to find the subtitle by language preference and if it didn't find it, it fallback to the first subtitle available (what ever the subtitle language) so it can be french / russian / english etc.
Now (with 1.13Final) if MP didn't find a match, the subtitle is not enable but you can switch manually on it.
And for the next release (1.14), i have add another selection in MP config to match the older bugged setting
