It seems that sometimes MP won't go back to suspend once elapsed the idle time after a schedule recording. this seems to happen when there are two different recordings scheduled: I put MP to sleep with the button on the top menu in the home, then MP wakes up at the 1st scheduled time, records the show, goes to sleep after the idle time, wakes up second time to record 2nd show but after this second recording it won't go to sleep! what can cause this?

I also noticed that in I have MP minimized in the tray area, once the idle time elapses it goes to sleep even if I'm using other programs outside MediaPortal...won't it be better to suspend idle time detection when Mp is minimizded to tray?

kind regards

Well, I just installed latest SVN, not yet tested if sleep works corerctly between a recording and another but for sure it puts computer to sleep if MP is recuced to tray ;) , thank you so much for your great support! ...so I'd suggest not to count the idle time when MP is minimized :D

should I post a suggestion somewhere else?

:D :D :D

I've also noticed that after a wakeup for a webEPG update the system won't go back to sleep, here is the MediaPortal Log...what's going wrong?

doesn't WebEPG grabber wake up the system some minutes before the scheduled time like PowerScheduler? I need some time to auto connect to internet before WebEPG starts grabbing informations...isn't it possible to configure a delay?

Hi

It looks that powerschedule is still not working proberly.
If MP is started up and nothing is runing in BasicHome, it goes to hibernation after 3 minutes for the 1st time (normal behaviour).
If power up it comes back from hibernation, and will go to hibernation for the 2nd time after 3 minutes (normal behaviour).
If I now power up, it come back from hibernation but will never go to hibernation anymore
In my opinion this procedure should be endless and not only for 2 times.

I have MP 0.2.2.0 and SVN--03-08-2007--20-01-Rev13302 installed
Does anybody have the same problem.

Regards,
Gerhard

Are you sure it has been fixed in latest SVN? I'll install it this afternoon and give it a try, but with my 2/3/2007 SVN it doesn't seem to work, now it seems it never goes to sleep after wakes up for recording or for EPG update, you don't need to wait for two separate recording...it just wakes up! you have to turn it off manual.

I have eMule running in the background...is this preventing MP to go to sleep?
