I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question but anyways...

I know there's a way to configure My TV so that it automatically turns on the tv when entering My TV, however is there a way to make it automatically turn off the tv when leaving My TV?
Coz it's kinda annoying to have to scroll down and press that damn off button every time before leaving the my tv page...

If there's no way, can this be added in a later update?

If using the inbuilt TV, turning off timeshifting in config, should allow this to happen, unless it is broken.

TVE3 is always timeshifting whilst TV active so no you cannot do this, either shut MP down then or select another module.

hmm.. But i want timeshifting enabled when watching tv...it's just that if im leaving the My TV page i'm not going to watch any more TV so I don't need it to timeshift any more either :/

Or well... maybe it might happen once or twice I will want to exit the my tv and continue timeshifting.. I guess I just havent had a tv-card that long yet.. Hum.. a dialog asking if you want to continue timeshifting when leaving the my tv page could be nice :)

But I guess that will only happen in my dreams hehe... guess Ill have to download the source and customize it myself :) ..err. im allowed to do that right?

edit: heh.. got another question.. is there a way to add keyboard shortcuts for specific plugin windows? so that when you enter that shortcut the window of that plugin opens.. no matter in what plugin window you're currently in?

Edit 2: Hehe.. I modified the source so that now if I'm timeshifting and I exit My TV a dialog box will popup and ask if I want to continue or stop timeshifting, and it works great :D
Not sure if I should post the modified dll in case anyone else might be interested in this, but if you are then just reply to this topic or pm and tell me.

Watching TV, hit pause, it will start timeshifting anyway, but obviously will not go further back than that point.

Anyway glad you found a solution for yourself.

I think it's a good idea. You could perhaps configure it in the configuration utility, and it could be something like insert new DVD: Always leave on/ Always turn off/ or ask if you should turn of each time you leave MY TV. The standard could be set to always leave on, so that the average user didn't have to change it, and those who would like to change could.

If it's much work it might not be wourth it, but if it's easy, it would be another addition to the customizability of this marvelous piece of art :)
