Thank you very much for the Plugin.
I have a Non-3D-TV in my livingroom, but some 3D-Movies on my Harddrive, because I've also a 3D-Monitor in the Office. But when I want to watch a 3D movie on my livingroom Setup I had to Exit MP to use Stereoscopic Player for Monoscopic view.

With your Plugin ist much more comfortable for me...Tanks mate!

But I've one (maybe simple) question, which bothers me: How can I map CTRL+D on my MCE Remote??? :)

regards Töbi

This is something I have already thought of, because sometimes I needed this too.

There is no simple way. The only way would be to use a tool like EventGhost, that simulates a keypress after an IR-command was sent.

I will check the MediaPortal code, if I find a way to map the a certain MCE-command to the Auto3D popup menu. First I have to understand how the internal mapping works. I will post it, if I find a way.

Hi, I have tried to get the plugin to automatically switch my TV to 3D mode. I have configured the settings in the SBS tab and when I test the config it works fine. When I start a 3d movie in media portal the TV does not switch to 3d mode. The filename of the movie contains '3d' e.g. 'my.movie 3d.mkv'

What does the pluging look for to trigger the TV to go in to 3d mode.

    Cheers

    Have you updated the Core.dll?
    Which Tv are you using?
    Can you post your MediaPortal.log?

You don't even have to activate it. It seems to block COM1: even when deactivated.

You are right, I debugged through the SerialUIR code in the Core and can confirm, that it always opens the port, regardless if it is activated or not.
The RedEye code does the same. I will correct that with a patch.[DOUBLEPOST=1367525379][/DOUBLEPOST]A new version is available at the end of the first thread (Auto3D_Complete-9.zip)

    It fixes the following problems:

    - 3D subtitles embedded in the video by a 3rd party tool where doubled. In this case there is an option to turn 3D subtitles off.
    - Alternative Sequence for Epson Beamers ("Epson Beamer A (3D mode on)")
    - COM port blocked by SerialUIR and RedEye

The options to turn the Auto3D-generated subtitles off is on the configuration page, where the depth can be configured.

To solve the COM-port problem I had to modify further parts of the Core and the Configuration.exe

I hope that the SerialUIR and RedEye code still works after my small changes.

Can do this, but I haven't worked with GIT yet as we use SVN/TortoiseSVN at work.
Don't know how much time it takes to read through the GIT documentation to create an own repo.

you can also use svn, is for save your work,
the advantage with git is, you can merge directly your branch to master and user can grab your branch in local repo for merge for custom build ;)
really easy tu use tortoigit (y)
