Yes, I'm using the Core.dll from Auto3D_Complete-9.zip.
Here's my MPC-HC settings: [DOUBLEPOST=1367865489][/DOUBLEPOST]And here's my log file using your new Core.dll
That depends on your model. Even TVs of the same company often have different menu structures and their handling is different.
If the existing sequences don't work, you have to adapt them to your TV. Somethimes it could just be a timing issue then you have to increase the command timing delays.
If you normally have to press the 3D key and then the enter key on your remote to get into the TVs 3D mode and the predefined sequence already contains this 2 commands, then it could be a timming issue.
Hi,
I added a minimal 1.4 pre version setup with core and configuration. This is built against the master branch. I don't have time to do more till mid of the week.
I hope it works.
Sorry for the lack of reply, but I had no time to work to my HTPC in past weeks. I've now switched to a different system and your plugin seems now to work perfectly!
Something that made me curious though, is the fact that I am testing the TriDef solution (http://www.tridef.com/) for playing 3D games on my system, and something I realized is that this software seems to be capable to switch the 3D mode of my beamer (Panasonic PT-AE5000) via the HDMI port of my video card (AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series). How is this possible? And then, as it seems to be possible, wouldn't it be possible to use the same solution in your plugin?
On another front, would it be possible to introduce an option to manually switch on and off the 3D interface of mediaportal also when no movie or tv is playing? I'd like to use your 3D interface as well inside the Online Videos plugin.
Thank you in advance for your reply and for this great plugin! Definitely a very valuable addition to MP!
Switching over HDMI is done by using frame packing mode of the video cards. The problem is, that this would require a lot of changes in the Direct3D core of MediaPortal. I will look into this in the next months, but at the moment my time is very limited.
Manual switching the GUI without video playing is possible, but requires changes in the core, as the GUI then is rendered by a different code. I will try this in the next version.
