    Hi,

    I have let running MP (without doing anything)
    1) start MP
    2) Myvideo (in shareview)

    With Auto3D ON : 171MB -> 231MB (after 5 hours)
    With Auto3D OFF : 160MB -> 161MB (after 3 hours) (i will let running MP)

    Too bad, i didn't profile MP :(

    Even if memory goes up little by little, i can start MP to see video after few hours. So it's really good improvement.

    Still got no response from any Philips-owner, if the DiVine test Utility did find the keycode for the 3D key.

    I assume it didn't. :(

    I have another idea. to find the right code. WinLIRC contains utilities for displaying and recording IR-codes.

    http://winlirc.sourceforge.net/usageguide.html

    With IR-Record it is possible to record IR-codes in a file and with IR-Graph it is possible to display the signal on the screen.

    Perhaps somebody with a Philips remote that has a "3D"-key could just record the key with the IR-Record tool and some other keys for reference (just 2 or 3).
    And additionally do screenshots with the IR-Graph of the same keys.

    Perhaps then I can "see" the difference between the codes. :)

    @patrickkrst: Here is a little test utility. Start it and type in the IP-Address of your Philips TV. The press connect.
    After that select one of the codes, press send, and check if it does the same as the 3D button of your remote.

    The list contains all known and unknown codes. Please check first the code 186. If this one doesn't work you can check all the other available codes (also the unknown ones). :)

    UPDATE: In the documents about the RC codes for the 2010 Philips models, they describe not only RC6 codes, but also RC5 and RC3 codes. Perhaps this is the key to a solution.

    So if the RC6 codes don't work. I can extend the application, to also send RC3/RC5 codes if necessary.
    And now I'm waiting for response from the Philips owners ... :)
    I tryed many of the commans but none of them worked. Something must be wrong with that app

    Are you able to send any command via Auto3D-plugin setup in the MediaPortal configuration?

    Yes.
    It connect to the TV (i tryed connecting to the wrong ip and that did bring up an error) but no commands seem to work.
    I just double checked and it connects in the Auto3d plugin using jointspace

    I have just found this plugin (I am not sure why I didn't find it before, I suppose I wasn't looking for it :LOL:).

    I don't have a 3D TV because I am too tight to buy one, but it is very useful for playing 3D content on a 2D TV, so I really appreciate the plugin.

    I wonder if it might be possible to add an option for non-3D TV users. Currently, to switch between normal video, and corrected 3D->2D, this has to be done manually using the CTRL+D button. This is OK, but it would be even better if an option was available so that any file with "3D" or "3D SBS" automatically triggered it to go into the 3D->2D viewing mode. This would mean that there was no user intervention, and also would mean that the viewing mode could switch back automatically to normal 2D when that file was completed.

    Anyway, these are just slight improvements to what looks already to be a great plugin. Nice work!

    Cheers
