Fantastic!

Like all previous posters I really hope this feature will be implemented. As it stands Mediaportal is already by far the best htpc software, but this would truly perfect it!!

the diff file contains all the info regarding versioning.

It's based on this weeks coming svn.

    Great work Gibman,

I'll test it tomorrow after upgrading to this weeks SVN. The princess of the house is using the TV now ... :)

Maybe in next release you can include a small .txt file with the install notes. (like in the firstpost)

been trying it out now and it doesn't work very well here.
    1. To start a 25Hz movie is a lottery, some work some don't, some even don't work the first five times I start it but the sixth.
    2. When I'm stopping media it doesn't return to 24Hz
    3. Sometime when I start a media without stopping the running one it all turns black (not in log file)
    4. When I start a 24Hz movie in 50Hz mode it switches to 24 Hz and start the movie but returns to MP Gui with movie running in corner.
    5. Probably something more but I don't remember.

    config:
    Code:

yes

C:\\Program Files\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\Core-Static\\CLI.exe Start Load profilename="24"

C:\\Program Files\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\Core-Static\\CLI.exe Start Load profilename="50"

C:\\Program Files\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\Core-Static\\CLI.exe Start Load profilename="60"

C:\\Program Files\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\Core-Static\\CLI.exe Start Load profilename="50"

23.976;24

25

29.97;30

25

24

25

30

25

cinema_hz

yes

yes

    EDIT:
just tell me if you need translation from swedish to english (swedish in logs), even though you are danish ;)

    EDIT2:
found an error in config mode I made,

25

30

25

    should be:

50

60

50

    will try it out

That worked much better, now all my 25Hz movies play. But it still doesn't switch back to 24 when I stop the media and when im going from 25 to 24 without stopping MP crashes (see log), but not the other way around. point 4 in previous message also still stands, but now I feel I can use it, nice! me like!

The problem of not going back to the default RR when playback stops works ok here..
    I start MP in 47hz

starting 24fps avi clip .. MP changes to 60hz.
stopping clip, MP changes back to 47hz

dont mind the weird hz in my setup .. my monitor on DEV pc has weird refresh rates.

    ex. here is my setup

yes

c:\\Programmer\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\CLI.exe start Load profilename="60hz"

c:\\Programmer\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\CLI.exe start Load profilename="47hz"

c:\\30hz.cmd

c:\\Programmer\\ATI Technologies\\ATI.ACE\\CLI.exe start Load profilename="47hz"

23.976;24

25

29.97;30

25

60

47

60

47

pal_hz

yes

yes
